	2643 with GALVANISED STEEL SIDES, MESH EXTENSION SIDES, HYDRAULIC TILT, RAMP DOOR AND RECESSED DECK RINGS	All Bateson 2 ton Platform Trailers are now fitted with 155 x 12 tyres (the same as the 2.6 ton trailers). 3.5 ton Platform Trailers are now fitted with 195 x 13 tyres (unless 185.70 x 13 are specified). All 3.5 ton trailers are now fitted with a 48mm diameter jockey wheel as standard. The famous and extensive range of Batesons Trailers Platform trailers combine exceptional strength with a low unladen weight and excellent stable towing characteristics.
		The Bateson 520 is a lightweight fully galvanised general purpose trailer, for use on or off road. With a gross weight of 550Kg, it does not require overrun brakes and is suitable for use behind most cars, quad bikes and small tractors. Independent rubber suspension is fitted with 16.5 - 6.5 x 8" wide tyres, for high speed use as well as minimising ground pressure. The body size is large enough to accommodate the larger quad bikes, motorcycles and ride on mowers, making the trailer very versatile for a wide range of applications.
		The Bateson 720 is a lightweight, twin axled, fully galvanised general purpose trailer, for use on or off road. With a gross weight of 750Kg, it does not require overrun brakes and is suitable for use behind most cars, quad bikes and small tractors. Independent rubber suspension is fitted with 16.5 - 6.5 x 8" wide tyres, for high speed use as well as minimising ground pressure. The body size is large enough to accommodate the larger quad bikes, motorcycles and ride on mowers, making the trailer very versatile for a wide range of applications.
		Bateson Standard platform trailers are available with gross weights of 2000Kg, 2600Kg and 3500Kg. The capacity depends on the optional equipment fitted to the trailer. Trailers are supplied as a flat platform with roping hooks, full road lights, front jockey wheel and auto reversing overrun brakes. Optional equipment can be fitted to requirements, including steel hinged sides, loading ramps and carrier, rear loading legs, ladder rack, spare wheel and mesh extension sides. 14' and 16' trailers are available with a hydraulic tilting body to load equipment with low ground clearance.
		Bateson Beaver tail transporter trailers are available 14' or 16' long and 2000Kg, 2600Kg and 3500Kg gross weights. All have a 4' long beaver tail section sloping approximately 4". Standard equipment includes two slide-in loading ramps, rear loading legs and a suitable hand winch. The trailers can be supplied with hydraulic tilting bodies and a ramp door, side load securing rails, spare wheel and a third loading ramp if required.
		Bateson Hydraulic tipping trailers are available 2.5m, 2000Kg gross weight, and 3.0m long with gross weights 26000Kg and 3500Kg. Standard equipment includes 30cm deep steel sides, a hand pump on Model 202H and 12volt electric hydraulic pumps on 263H and 353H. A battery box is provided, but no battery. Longer leads can be supplied with a 2 pin plug, to plug directly into a heavy duty socket on the towing vehicle as an alternative. Optional equipment is available similar to the platform trailers, but a ramp carrier cannot be fitted to Model 202H.


	All trailers are fully galvanised, and have Avonride softride fully independent rubber suspension axles, auto reversing brakes and a hydraulically damped hitch with lockable cast coupling and power assisted handbrake. Standard equipment includes a phenol coated plywood floor, flush fitting side rails with post sockets and roping hooks, a front telescopic jockey wheel and full road lights. Platform width can be increased up to 7'6" the maximum legal limit where wider loads are to be accommodated and platform lengths can be increased to special order if required.
