Bateson tilt deck transporters are available in three sizes and have been designed for ease of use and maximum efficiency. The 18mm phenol ply floor can be hydraulically tilted to provide a low approach angle allowing very low ground clearance vehicles to be loaded as well as plant, machinery and cars with front spoilers. |

The chassis is hot dipped galvanised with integral mudguards and a solid back to keep the load clean. They are strong enough to stand on, and low enough to open car doors over. The body is titled by means of a hydraulic cylinder and handpump and can be lowered at a variable rate | |

All trailers are fitted with Avonride rubber suspension axles with auto-reversing and over-run and parking brakes, a hydraulically damped coupling with power assisted handbrake and a lockable 50mm ball coupling. Standard equipment includes full road lights, front adjustable wheel chock, 12 securing points, jockey wheel, spare wheel and carrier and a hand operated winch. | |
